I made a glass guitar in honor of my favorite guitarist-Eddie Van Halen. It is not exactly like his iconic guitar, and you can’t play it, but it definitely represents the respect I have for his ability to play. I used the kiln-form method to create the body. For the shape of the mold I needed to make, I bought a new guitar and took it apart. I later used the bridges, frets, neck, etc. to attach to the finished body. It took months of research and work to create the guitar. It is displayed on my wall (it weighs 40 lbs) in my hot shop.
