To live in Alaska is to be surrounded by scenery to be captured and held. Cameras work, but I prefer paint and brushes when I have the time. My day job is forestry, and has been so for the last 30 years. Self-taught, I started painting pictures in the early '90's while working in remote job sites. Every painting is a new lesson learned.
