I am by day a commercial photographer, shooting in the fast paced world of corporate photography satisfying the specific needs of clients. My personal work is more long term. My fine art projects help me ask and answer questions about who I am, who my ancestors were and what that means to my life. I have always been interested in images that ask more questions than they answer. My first project is entitled "3 mile radius" and has to do with my connection to the smallest state in the US. It is a photo essay exploring my past connections to RI. " Leavers Lace" is the story of the last lace manufacturing facility in America. This is some of the best lace in the world all being made on machines that over 100 years old. I have been involved in photography through published books, gallery shows and competitions throughout my life.
