Rich shades of pale magenta, dark-red violet, medium turquoise highlighted by white, have created a high-chroma, high contrast painting of fluid lines. It's a small work, on cradled panel (unframed but no need for one, the sides are painted the same shade of violet as in the painting). There's a good bit of texture in the central blue area as if crystallization has occurred, and this adds to the complexity of the piece, which makes, I think, an excellent accent piece on an entry way or hall wall, or grouped with other works of varying sizes. This is painted on cradled hardboard, 2 inches deep, and the sides are painted deep violet, thus it is not framed, but ready for hanging. In this case, a frame is not desirable.
